Born in Sendai, Japan.
After graduating from high school, she studied English in the United States. After returning to Japan, she went back to the US again to attend college in Florida. Studied international business and received an A.S. degree. After graduating from the college, she had a work experience in foreign trading operations in the overseas divisions of trading companies and manufacturers in Sendai and Tokyo, Japan.

She went back to the US for the third time in her mid-30’s as a last chance. After having a business intern at forwarding company in Chicago, IL, she joined Sojitz Plastics America Inc. (Sojitz Corporation Group), one of Japan’s largest global trading companies also located in Chicago, as a local hire. Mainly responsible for export to South America. After working with Sojitz for 6 years, she returned to her hometown, Sendai. Founded L.U. International, LLC. in August 2014.
